It has been too long but now, after over a year, I'm finally ready to start shooting them out: my books. *happy dance*

I had always planned to start with my poetry books until I'd gotten enough material and ideas written down to start on my novels. Now I'm here at the point. ^_^

My second publication is another poetry book, this time by the name of Reminiscence. Last year a contest was held here, on Deviant Art, to find the cover artist for Rest In Pieces. The runner up, so to speak, is the one I decided to go to for the talent neccessary for my book. She's got good skills when it comes to both, artwork and cosplaying, so make sure to drop by and check out her material when you get the chance. She's also listed below as the cover artist for the book. Myv-kun

The book itself should be done and printed up before the month is out, a batch of 25. Those will be available to purchase only from me though. I'm working on getting the ISBN number for the book now (those digits and barcode you see on everything) so that I can start putting them in bookstores and libraries. Those will, obviously, be available to purchases later if you would rather not get them directly from me. It shouldn't take more than a month to get the ISBN taken care of and get the book in stores but, on the safe side, it should be in stores in Janurary.

After that, I'll be finishing up my first novel. A number of people have read the first 8 chapters and are suggesting that I take it to a publisher to get paid to finish it in addition to collecting once it's in print. Apparently they think it will be a hit ^_^....though I don't know if what they say about getting paid to finish it is out of jest or not, I've yet to look into that. >.<

Anyway, my second poetry book along with my first novel should be coming out next year. I should also be getting things finalized with my house in Janurary and moving in there. (Yay for my first house ^_^). Also starting to get attention from some newspapers and broadcast companies up near San Fransico so that works in order with things. All I need now is...

I was hoping to not update until after the move....looks like there'll be one before that.

On memorial day a few weeks back, we got a batch of new kittens. My bro's cat and a neighbours cat had kittens, all female. There were a total of five in all. One had to be put down right away. It's eye was infected and swollen to the point it was coming out of the socket. One stayed with the other people, and the last three came here. The three were then given names and asigned to certain people as being their cats: Little Momma, Eclipse, and Crescent, the runt of the liter. And for anyone who makes a Twilight statement, just to clear it up since I don't want to hear crap, my bro's cat is named Midnight. They wanted names that went with his despite that fact that neither him or the mother wanted the kittens.

When Crescent came here, she was so tiny that she could fit in the palm of my hand. She wasn't eating, she was puny, and wouldn't even play with her sisters. They couldn't come up with a name for her so I gave her one and they all took it. They had spent the next few days trying to get her to eat, she just refused. After everyone else in the house had tried without success, they wanted me to try. I picked her up in my arms, got the syringe, and within a few minutes, she'd begun nipping at it, then actually drinking the milk. She hadn't stopped eating once since then.

Soon after that she became a bit more active, exploring the house by herself, wanting to go outside, playing with her sisters when they could keep up with her, and got a little bigger, but was still smaller than the others to still be the runt. I continued feeding her, eventaully moving her up from milk to baby food. She ended up getting attacked by the rabbit about two weeks ago. We don't know what exactly he did to her but if the back of her neck or one of her legs were touched, she'd scream out in pain and, instead of jumping off of chairs or other things, she'd just roll off and thunk onto the ground. In additrion to that, she had fluid in her lungs. After a week she had started getting better, going back to her old active self, though she had an incident with Midnight where he ended up hissing at her.

Last night, my bro had one of his tantrums. This time, instead of breaking more things or putting more holes in the walls, or breaking a door of the hinges, he decided to poison Crescent who, by the way, was my mom's kitten. I came out of my room and heard some yelling from a cat. I go to open the front door and I look down. There, on one of the couch pillows, wrapped up in a cloth, is Crescent completly limp. I try and question my mom as to what happened and she refuses to tell me for quite some time, asking if I want to take her in my room and watch over her. I say sure and then she finally tells me.

Because my bro threw his little tantrum again, he was pissed off and decided that the best way to get back would be to kill Crescent. He forced her to take two of his Syriquil, then proceded to let her just go about as if he didn't do anything. It took a long time before he admitted to doing it and he was happy about it because his way of getting back was working. Crescent was completely limp, pissing on herself, yelping in pain every few seconds, was already turning cold, and was having convulsions. Mom was convinced that she would somehow be able to pull through so she wouldn't let me just kill her quickly. I had to take her in my room and watch over her.

I kept her, trying to keep her warm, rocking her. Early in the morning though, in the early hours, she finally died. I'm not really all boo-hoo about it because 1)I already knew it would happen and 2)I'm not a emotional person period. But, yeah, anyway, that little kitten that I have up as my last submission, that's the one that is no longer alive. She's atrophed, ice cold, and now needs to have her body disposed of thanks to my bro and his "my way or the highway" bullshit attitude.

It's 4 am and I JUST got home from seeing Rich and the comedy show that he'd hosted with Theatre of N.O.T.E. I'm not going to go into detail just yet, doing that tomorrow...er...later today, just felt like getting something up for when I talk all about it and the abundance of good news that comes with it in addition to quite a few new things with me. ^_^

Now that I've actually got some rest and gotten stuff out of the way, it's "spill the beans" time. Last night, a friend of mine, Rich Pierrelouis, hosted a comedy night to help gain money for the Theatre of N.O.T.E. It was an 11pm to 2:30am comedy show that included Ian Edwards of Chocolate News, Justin Wade a.k.a. Mr. Commercial, Jordan Rubin from Late Night w/ Conan O'Brien, Nikki Glaser from The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno, host of This Job is a Trip Laura Rosenberg, HBO's "Lucky Louie" Rick Shapiro, Kim Clark, Mark Beltzman and the New Choice Improv Group, the Chicago improv group Ditka, and ventriloquist Karl Herlinger.

It was a night (and morning) filled with non stop laughs and it's hard to see how you couldn't laugh when we had a show filled with a horny dummy, ass licking, text messaging, the impeachment of Barbra Bush's uterus, announcement of the "Franch" and "Jarmany" countries, and a gerbal that was shot up with coffee, drugs, liquor, cigs, and a lot more.....oh wait, the last one was a person. XD If you haven't smiled at least, then you missed out on a great night and, if you did smile, well...you still missed out but at least you got something from the show.

Now it's time to update a little as to what's going on with me and some of it does tie into stuff that happened last night. First off, I got another movie audition, went to that last week. Don't really want to do it but it's a job and they called me up lol. The other thing is that I'm producing a play now here in Long Beach. Rent, which is the play that we're doing, is going to be visited by my buddy Rich himself along with a few of my other associates from N.O.T.E. Not only will they see it, but they're going to announce it which means even MORE expossure and attendees. If there is anyone that wishes to come see it, just ask for the details and I'll give them to you.

When I had gone, I was hoping to get to see Jonathan Klien, the guy who was (and is) in charge when I had directed two of my plays there. While I didn't get to see him, I did see a few more actors that I'd remembered and they're wanting me to not only come back and be an actor for Theatre of N.O.T.E. but to also write plays for them. *insert really happiness here* Speaking of writing, Rich did something that I REALLY didn't expect and kind of made me...well..it er...it made me show my shy side...A LOT. We talked out in front before the show started, caught up a little, he was asking if I'd written anything lately, told him I had stuff I was working on and published a book already. While inside, before starting, he came over and joked about wanting me to write somethign for him to star in. He's mentioned it before and I'm starting to think it's not as much of a joke between associates as it is him actually wanting to perform in more stuff that I've written.

Anyway, in the middle of the show, after the third act, he started giving shout outs to people that were connected or worked with N.O.T.E. or were his personal friends. Once he said "who else do we have in the house tonight" I had a feeling but I was hoping he would NOT mention me...and he saw my face and just smiled and knew what I was thinking XD. "We've got Aaron, AARON STAND UP!" I was reluctant but I did it and stood up, turned around and that was fine, I could have handeled that bit of spotlight if he hadn't started going, "Now he's only 19 but this guy can write his ass OFF!" I just dropped my head, biting the inside of my cheek, hoping I wasn't blushing or anything as he started giving me er...what's the term..."props"? So, yeah, that was akward XD. I need to get used to it more though.

Ok, now I'm going to wind this up because it is TOO DAMN LONG! lol
Final note, I've got to give a shout out and recognition to the Theatre of N.O.T.E. It's a great theatre with a phenomenal cast and crew. Always promised a good performance no matter what they're doing. Currently, for a few more nights, they're doing a play called FILM written by Patrick McGowan and directed by Trevor Biship. Yeah yeah yeah, I know. I need to update this thing. Well, that's the words of those that are actually reading this. Obviously something big (or semi-big) must have happened, otherwise I wouldn't be updating this.

At the begining of this week an old premonition of mine finally came true. After over 6 years of losing contact with them I finally got back in touch with my...er...god-family. The mom called up the pastor of a church my mom used to attend and was able to get her number. That night, my gram told my mom who left a message on the phone...and after about an hour of screaming when she found out who called, my mom called her back and spent the rest of the night on the phone. She allowed the others to get a few words in here and there but, for the most part, it was the two moms who'd basically be considered sisters. Over the week, they sent pictures back and forth of the kids now that years had passed...promptly followed by more squeals of excitement.

Today though, there's been a change. Due to certain circumstances, my god-family has now moved in with us adding 6 more people to our 4-bed house for a total of 10 people. I'm not complaining really. It might seem kind of crowded but, in actuallity, it will actually work pretty well. We're going to go get the bank beds out of storage tomorrow, set up another bed upstairs, split up the rooms, and everyone will be situated and happy. It's only been one night (well, half of one night) and we've already been having laughs and catching up.

Obviously things won't always be excellent. Hard times are going to be ahead with a house of 10 people. And there's still the reason as to why this has now happened. I won't say much more than this: "The reason that they here is because of something a man is doing....something that I hate my..."father" for...and any man or woman that does the same thing to their partner. Need to get the kids enrolled, situated, and we're going to have people coming to the house a LOT more often to check us out. One can only hope that things will change, that things will improve...

So yeah...I need to like...update this thing I guess.

I can walk pretty good again but I'm still having some trouble. I got to a new doc and he's supposed to have the records of my surgeries come wednesday so I'll know if I need another one or not. Weird thing is, I've been doing a lot of doc crap and I keep getting a response that's kind of making me concerned. The doc actually said to me that I am too healthy, the optomologist was surprised that I ever wore contacts or glasses because they're perfect, and even illnesses that it's been proven I have that will leave some trace within my system no matter what are completly disappearing. 0_0

On another note, I finally got my tax preparation license so now I can do tax prep (legally). Been doing a lot of work, advertisements, flyers, buisness cards, etc. In order to get my license I had to take a 600 question test. >_< Out of all of that I only got 15 wrong so that's got to really count for something, right? While on the side of work type things, I'm working on setting up a website...that won't exactly be for the kiddies if you catch my drift. That should be up within the next month. Also working on a site for my sis and her artwork and I'm hoping to have my second poetry book out by March, if I don't end up going to Pennyslvania or Missouri.

Also along the lines of work is my current actions with the talent agency. I've been getting request for my resume for movies such as the next Narnia film, New Moon, Eclipse, Zombie Ed, etc etc etc. As info comes up I'll try to keep those who actually read this thing updated.

I'm going to get back to posting things when I have the time. Classes stat next week, it's tax season, plus I've got that website, so I'm going to be VERY busy. I did finish the first Chibi Plush Doll. People have been saying that, considering the only other thing I made was a blanket that this is good, but I still refer to it as the Demented Chibi Voo Doo Doll From Hell. XD

Also, I'm starting to crack down on writing my novels. Focusing on "Big Brother" and the "Yet to be named Vampire series" that I've been wanting to do for a few years. I might come back to The 13th God after a while...but I'm really not feeling it. I mean, I LOVE the story idea...but I'm having trouble just getting it from my head to the paper. I think I'll end it here. It's 3 am in the fucking morning. My insomnia has come back WITH A DEADLY VENGENCE!!!! Meh...means I can do more work.
